Located about ninety miles north of San Francisco, In Folsom, California just outside of Sacramento. Mother and Daughter Team Brenda and Lynzi Taylor created Po’Boyz to bring you a slice of the N.O. flavor they have both spent so much time getting to know.

Brenda Taylor was born in New Orleans, coming up on good Cajun food and listening to the blues, and it's always been a lifelong dream of Brenda's to have a juke joint like the one she remembers in Irvinville, Louisiana. While Po’Boyz isn’t quite a juke joint, Brenda feels the blues that she brings our way is what you would get if you were from her hometown. Daughter Lynzi Taylor, on the other hand, fashioned her love for the blues from her mother.  Lynzi also attended Xavier University in New Orleans and shares the love of New Orleans cookin’ and some "Down Home Blues”, just like Mom. Brenda and Lynzi Taylor are avid blues supporters and Po'Boyz has become a destination for some of the best touring bands across the country. The family of blues performers ranges the entire spectrum of styles, from legends like Kenny Neal, WC Clark, Sonny Rhodes, Joe Lewis Walker, Zac Harmon, Guitar Shorty, Lucky Peterson and the list goes on. The spot is a comfortable and spacious setting with good Cajun and American food, and is attracting blues fans from all over Northern California.
